Fat Chef checkered kitchen ideas?
I am trying to do an original kitchen. I can't find pictures or ideas for it. Any advice?

The only that knows what you want is you. I'm a carpenter/ cabinet maker. I can make whatever cabinets you want.It also depends on the layout ,etc.. of your kitchen.

If you are trying to design a kitchen around the Fat Chef motif, I strongly advise against it. The Fat Chef decor is going to go out of style one day, and/or you may tired of it. Remember that several "motifs' have been in vogue - I don't know if you are old enough to remember the orange, tan, avocado green, and brown mushroom decor for the kitchen - think Brady Bunch, and you'll know what I mean. Then there were red apples, and pigs...do you remember when the goose was so popular in decor? Many people had geese decor all over the house, kitchen included. Roosters were popular a few years ago, seemed to wane in popularity, and now they're back. I see a lot of roosters in kitchen decorations. The best advice I can give you is to design a classic, neutral kitchen that you can use any type of decor or color with. Don't go trendy, for you don't want to replace expensive counter tops or hardware a few years down the road when they aren't in vogue anymore. Stick with neutrals, and yes, black and white are neutrals and would be a good choice. Blue counertops, trendy hardware, cabinets painted orange or red...not a good idea. Make your kitchen neutral, and then dress it up with the decorations and accessories of your choice.
