Are you sure you want a fender? just because its the most well known brand doesn't mean its what you'll like the most. I recommend a standard Strat cus its the best i could find for under 600. I like Gibsons my self. here's an SG thats affordable for you

Fender IS the best brand. I'd look for a 'Made in Mexico' Telecaster, you should find a nice one for that price.
