How to remove Adhesive from hands?
How do I get rid of a Filler and Adhesive from my hands. It is (was), an all in one foam which I was using whilst doing some DIY. I wore gloves but it went through or something and I haven't been able to get rid of it since. It's been almost 3 hours since I stopped trying lol. How do I get rid of this from my hands as it is really annoying and as its drying (dried), its getting really hard to just peel off (like I stupidly thought I could do).

Nail polish remover. Acetone's great.

Baby oil, work it into the adhesive and it will slowly come off (and leave you hands soft too!)

Well Joseph has a novel idea - acetone is poisonous but paint thinner is OK!!! Acetone is a lot less harmful than paint thinner after all it is the normal ingredient of nail varnish remover. Acetone is not viscous it is one of the least viscous solvents there is - it has a rapid flash off and does not stay on the skin long enough to be absorbed. Paint thinner on the other hand could contain almost anything and as it tends to be more "oily" will hang around on the skin longer and has more potential for being absorbed. So try nail varnish remover and if that doesn't work then my old trick was to use E45 cream as it removes the contaminants and also protects the skin. I used it successfully to remove paint from employees skin when I worked in a paint factory for 11 years. To Joseph please get your facts and information straight before you hit the keys!

Try using a small knob of butter, work it well in to your hands and let it dry. Then soak your hands in a washing up liquid solution you should find that it will soften enough to remove it with a small nail brush. It may be necessary to repeat this operation to remove every trace. Good luck and keep smiling even the experts make mistakes.!!
