AWW YEAH FF6 AND FF8 BABY. Final Fantasy VII a highly praised game of battle and characters.. Then finally Sephiroth got his cult of weirdos praising some derganged headless mofo called Jenova turns out to be a female which is hot in a way if you're into that. Sephiroth got that theme song that basically people get down with and be his bitch singing that song like its some damn religion but hell probably better than the real shit we got here LOL NAW... Sephiroth, Cloud, Tifa, Vincent are the main cores of this Zack we never gave a fuck about till crisis core came in. Edit-That is how many hardcore fans view ff7

First off @martellus, no thats kingdom hearts, it also includes final fantasy characters So, idrk why people love it so. I really do like it, but i also really like 8 and 10. I think it has to do with the fact so much goes on in the story they made a continuating movie, a spin off game, and a prequel. The story in it is really good, but so's 8's, why doesnt it get its credit for that? HUGE SPOILER And i recently found out that Aeris (or Aerith, whatever you prefer) wasnt supposed to die off. They decided to kill her off because of the inclusion of Tifa (the last character put in). But they were going to make a way so you can bring her back (the reason why you get her ultimate weapon and limit so early is you didnt have to play catchup with her). Thats why in many parts later in the game there awkward open spaces. But because of the rush to finish it never happened/: Sorry if any of that isnt correct, i basically took info i heard and put it together.

FF 7 was the FIRST 32 bit game of the series. It was released on Playstation 1, in the past, Final F was ONLY on Nintendo (when Nintendo felt like porting a game from Japan). So, Final Fantasy got a big boost in sales that didn't exist as a Nintendo game. It was monster huge in sales (in the US & Japan), it even came with a free T-shirt, if you got an early release copy. The "new" CD-ROM medium (no longer restricted to cartridges) allowed SquareSoft to put alot of extras into it that weren't there before and improve existing interfaces over their 16-bit counterparts. It was like opening a floodgate and all of these things and ideas that could be put into a game, were NOW actually POSSIBLE. I could go on about the story line or the details of individual characters but, I think you get the idea.... In Japan, some of the FF 7 characters are still beloved and treated as icons. If you visit certain websites - wink, wink - you know what I'm talking about .... But like a lot of other things in life, the love affair faded away and FF 8 didn't get such a beloved following, as FF 7 did. I didn't play FF 6 or 8, I just don't have the spare time for RPG's like I used to. But I admit that I am curious to see if they were better games.
