Fisher Price baby swing

Fisher Price is one of the most well known and trusted names in the business when it comes to infant and toddler products which is why  parents choose a Fisher Price baby swing more often than any of the other brands.

The three different models of Fisher Price swings are the full size, cradle, and take-along swing which are designed in many different styles and themes.

One of the most popular choices among consumers is the "Dreamsicle Collection Swing 'n Glider" which is a full size swing and can be utilized as either a glider or swing and has sixteen songs including eight classic lullabies.

The most popular Fisher Price baby swing in the take-along model is the "Ocean Wonders Deep Blue Sea SpaceSaver Swing & Seat" with a calming vibration, six songs and five point harness for safety.

The "Starlight Papasan" is also a favorite among consumers and is a cradle swing which can be set to swing either side to side or front to back with stars floating overhead as well as a star show which can be projected onto the canopy which surrounds the cradle.

You can browse all of these models on internet websites such as Amazon.com and select the Fisher Price baby swing which is right for you.

should i buy a used fisher price baby swing?
it is a fisher price aquarium swing, i am buying it from craigslist, and the seller says she can show it works good still. but i am wondering how long is the life for fisher price swings, do they usually last a long time? or will it break the first week i use it? no this one retails at $120 and its for sale for $50

I would definitely buy it, if it in good condition when you go see it. Swings have a long life, and if I could do it over again I probably would've bought used because you don't use them all that long, and if you're buying a fairly newer model such as the one you mentioned they will most likely be in great shape and serve it's purpose, while savings you alittle bit of money.

my swing was bought second hand 6 years ago, it was used by me, my sister and my brother, its now back in my possesion and still works fine! Always buy big ticket items second hand!! The only thing I bought new was my carseat, otherwise its all second hand or hand me downs!

there is nothing wrong with buying a used swing but the first thing I would do is get on line and see if there has been any recalls on it, if there has see if the owner had it fixed.

It should fine to buy a used swing... Just check it out before you buy it... Pull the cover back... is it clean under the cover? Is the trey clean? When you turn it on does it swing in all the directions? The only thing I have not ever bought used is a carseat. Everything else... I have just found gently used.

Well...I Wouldn't Be So Sure About It But That Is Just Me Becouse I Would Be Scared That There Would Be A Loose Screw Or Something. Also Would You Realy Wan't You Little Baby Getting Hurt When Maybe It Falls When You Sit Him/Her In It. I Have Herd That There Has Been Alot Of Baby's Getting Hurt When Useing A Used Baby Swing So Maybe Try Something Else If Not That Your Only Choice. :)

yes, esp b/c some babies do not like the swing. It would be a shame to spend all theat money and not use it. The swing I used this time had already been used for three babies.

My mother-in-law bought us one for our new baby and it has worked perfectly. We love the aquarium theme of the swing! I would definitely buy one for your baby!
