Today's Discussion

what does it mean to see bald eagle flying close in front of you?
Two bald eagles flew together in front of our vehicle, swooping down in front of our car, then straight up and behind us, then flew down in front of us again and agin as we drove around bends in the mountainside.

I assume they're trying to attack you or think you're prey.

"Mean"? Absolutely nothing....mere chance. OR.....slight possibility that you were too close to *their* territory. Bluffing you away.

Wow - how interesting is that! Never heard of that - but probably they have a nest in the area and are seeing you safely to the boarder of their domain. Maybe..... You got to figure though that even birds have a "sense of humor" - they'll pull gags on other animals - a chicken might grab the dog by the butt and make the dog run away. Perhaps these eagles were just curious or trying to be "funny".
