Gas station air compressors?
Aren't the gas stations supposed to give you free air and water out of the compressor things? I thought it was a law or something like that requiring them to give it to you free.

there is no law requiring gas stations to give you free compressed air or water. They do it just to maintain good customer relations.

In California, I do remember a law that was signed to give free air and water. However the law is not enforced. It's more of a courtesy nowadays, and some stations still charge for it, at least the ones that haven't been caught.
