I Have A Gas Barbecue I Have No Gas Canisters At The Moment Would I Be Able To Use Just Charcoal And Put Tin Foil Round The Pipes Where The Gas Should Go. Would It Be OK To Do That Or Would It Brake It???????? (It Has No Gas In At The Moment And Hasn't Done For About 3 Months) Thank You In Advance. Thank You all Just Thought I Would check Before Doing Any Damage To Me Or My Barbecue

Go and buy a gas cylinder.

The soot and ash from the charcoal will clog the small gas pipes and could be very dangerous when you eventually use propane.

no most gas grills can't handle the heat from charcoal briquettes... at the very least it will destroy the burners... at most, it will melt holes in the bottom, and possibly cause a fire.
