High Quality Girls Snow Bibs

girls snow bibs

When girls are participating in any outdoor winter activity such as sledding, skiing, snowboarding, or just having fun, girls snow bibs are an essential piece of apparel to wear. One of the most important reasons is that they protect the legs and upper body from the extreme cold that often times comes with winter.

Most are also water resistant which is necessary because when participating in any activity involving snow the heat from your body can cause the snow to melt which can make you extremely cold and wet.

When purchasing girls snow bibs high quality is very important as some brands even though they may be less expensive tend not to be as well insulated and many of these are not water resistant. Chances are your local sporting goods store will carry a large selection of the higher quality snow bibs however, these can be relatively expensive.

If you live in a warmer climate which receives little or no snow your local stores most likely do not carry this type of apparel at all which can pose a problem for you if you are planning a trip to a colder climate with outdoor winter activities. However, you by shopping online through large retailers such as Amazon you'll be able to find any type of winter apparel to suit your needs.

Snowpants for 4 and 5 yr old girls, what style?
Might get my girls to take ski lesson, however I'm confused with the styles of snowpants (see below link). There's racer style, bib style and suspender style. Which one is best for skiing? The bib style seems best to keep snow from getting in their shirts, but isn't it difficult to use the public washroom with it on? Need some insights. Thanks!!!

When I was little, all I had was bib style. The whole bathroom piece might seem confusing, but it's well worth it when snow doesn't get in them. The bib holds the pants up without the risk of falling down, like suspenders (my dad uses those) and it's good for little kids. I'm a teenager and I've graduated to normal ski pants, but I never regretted my bib ski pants as a kid. Even with racer style now it was much more comfortable to have bib. Hope this helps!

I have two boys, now 8 and 11, and have been skiing with them now for 3 years. We've tried both the racer style and bib and for the younger kids the bib seems to be a lot more comfortable since it kept the pands up the best and kept the snow out. As the kids get older the racer or snowboard/ski pants tend to work out better. In summary, 8yrs and younger I recommend the bib, older then 8yr I recommend racer/pants. (You'll see that most of the kids in the lessons at their age will also have bibs so your kid won't feel out of place)
