How long should I mircowave this glass baby bottle?
I totally forgot to ask the mom whom I'm babysitting for. She has Glass Bottles- Dr. Browns, Natural Flow to be exact. They're filled to about 4 oz. and I need to know how long to nuke them? Thanks!

NEVER nuke a baby bottle. Get a small saucepan, put about two or three inches of water in it, heat the water, take the pan off the heat, and put the bottle in the pan for a few minutes, until the milk is body temperature, no warmer. You can test by shaking a few drops of the milk on the inside of your arm. Microwaving a bottle can cause hot spots in the milk or formula, and can actually burn the baby!

Microwave the formula in the mug for about 25 seconds test it on your wrist you should not feel anything. You can't microwave in a bottle because of toxins.

I wouldn't nuke it. Stand a bottle up in a small pan of hot water and put on the stove. heat it for 2 -3- minutes. It should be hot( warm). shake the bottle and shake a drop or two on the inside of your wrist. U shouldnt be able to feel it. If it 's too hot on your skin, it's too hot for them to drink.. If u do nuke it take the top off and go for 30 seconds. You can always go for 10 -15 seconds longer.

no need -if you drink cold milk, so can a babe!

boil water and then put the bottle in till its room temp, u shouldn't feel it when u drop it on ur wrist. Dont put it in the microwave cause it can cause hot spots in the milk and burn the baby.

If its formula, than just use room temp water to mix it and then you wont have to heat it up. If its breast milk than do as the others are saying and put the bottle in the hot water.
