Hello, We have a formula, Speed of light = Frequency * Wavelength Now, we have 3 * 10^8 m/s = Frequency * 633 * 10^-9 m On solving, we get Frequency = 4.739 * 10^14 Hz Now, remember that when light goes from one medium to another, its frequency doesn't change. What changes is its wavelength. That is why we have found the frequency of given light. We have another formula, Refractive index of a medium= speed of light in vacuum / speed of light in that medium So, 1.52 = [3 * 10^8] / Speed of light in glass On Solving, we get Speed of light in glass = 1.973 * 10^8 m/s Now we have speed , we can get wavelength by using the 1st formula and frequency we found. Speed of light in glass = wavelength * frequency 1.973 * 10^8 = wavelength * 4.739 * 10^14 On solving, we get Wavelength = .41633 * 10^-6 = 416.33 * 10^-9 = 416.33 nm Hope that helps..!!
