I have never heard of "Carnation Good Start" - we used Gerber Good Start. Someone told me that Nestle made it and it has been called both Carnation and Nestle in the past but they unified it under the Gerber baby line . . .but as of 2 years ago when my son was a newborn, it was Gerber. It was great, no issues, easy on the stomach, my son did very well on it.

yes it is the same. Nestle bought Gerber and Carnation. Personally I didn't like it. It made my baby constipated and gassy. I prefer enfamil or simulac but the kroger brand is just as good. The walmart brand on the other hand completly sucks.

i believe this is the one you are looking for: If this is the one, i was told several times it was great, the only problem is that this comments i heard them a long while ago, i believe they don't make it anymore, or that it's called differently, look for in the Nestle brand.

I believe you are referring to Nestle Good Start. I as well had heard great things about this formula. Although I breastfeed my son, who is now 9 months old, I have used this formula since he was 4 weeks old to give him atleast 1 bottle per day. I also use it for his baby cereal and to thin out foods that I prepare for him. I have never had any issues with the formula and my friends, who also gave their children Good Start, had equally pleasant expereinces.

Carnation formula is the same as Gerber it just merged or got bought out. I started out using the Carnation and when it switched I used Gerbers. My daughter didn't react differently to it once it switched over. My daughter loved this stuff. When she was first born she'd scream 8-10 hours per day. We finally realized she was lactose intolerant like I am and I switched her to their soy formula. She did wonderful that first day and never screamed like she did at first again.
