How to get from grand central station to times square?
my friend wants to meet up in times square, but i only know how to get to times square. but i want to meet her at the grand central station, how do i get from times square to grand central station. i'd most likely rather walk then take another train.

Google maps can do a walking route. I put in Grand Central Station and Times Square and got a 14 minute route along E 42nd St and W 43rd St. You can also do a public transit route with them and it is 4 minutes on the subway. You should check out Trip123's transit trip planner at the 2nd link below as it plans a trip from any origin address to a destination address in the NYC metro area with arrival and "leave" times.
