There are many different types of homemade gift basket ideas out there. Many gift baskets focus on soaps, candles, candies, and items that are similar in nature. How many gift baskets do you see on the market that are appropriate for those that love electronic devices? I know I have not seen too many myself. Just think about it, though. This is a great focus when it comes to gifts.

If you know someone that enjoys electronic devices such as computers, digital accessories like cameras, or even video gaming, the possibilities when it comes to creating a gift basket are virtually endless!

If you are looking for homemade gift basket ideas for those that love technology or electronics in general, the first step is to determine which types of products that the recipient may enjoy. If you know someone that enjoys computers, for example, you may consider including items like an Ethernet hub, color copiers, or a portable printer.

If you know someone that enjoys their home entertainment center, items such as gift cards for cable providers, bookshelf speakers, and a Blu Ray DVD player may be appropriate. There are numerous homemade gift basket ideas out there - all it takes is a little creativity and knowledge of what the recipient enjoys most to create one that will be highly appreciated.

Today's Discussion

what are some great homemade christmas gift basket ideas that are very budget friendly?
I want to make up gift baskets as family gifts for my mom and dad, sister and her husband, brother in law and his wife etc. because we are on a tight budget this year. I want to start soon too cause I am pregnant and due on Dec 17th. I have some ideas; framed photos, homemade christmas ornaments from the kids, chocolate, cookies, but need more to fill them. Please let me know your ideas. I am also wanting good ideas of what to put the goodies in besides baskets because baskets are fairly expensive.

I recommend doing a theme (every year) You could do a wine and cheese basket (with corkscrew and nice napkins) then another year do cookies and candy, (all home made or gourmet) then another year do a bath basket with personnalized embrodered robe and bath back brush and soap etc. just spread it out - good luck

You can go to Michael's (craft store) to get the material to make the baskets, I don't think they are very expensive either that or Walmart. If the baskets are for older people you could put cookbooks in them or candles, crayons and coloring books for little kids, maybe some sort of lotion Sorry couldn't think of anything else :)
