Laminate Flooring Prices Vary According To Quality and Style

laminate flooring prices

Laminate flooring prices are very appealing to homeowners looking for new flooring.

When compared against the price of carpeting and some types of tile, laminate floors are the more affordable option yet they are beautiful and durable.

Many people find that laminate flooring is easier to install than carpeting; in fact, most do-it-yourselfers can do the job without paying extra for installation.

Laminate flooring prices will vary according to the manufacturer and retail store, but you can find quality laminate flooring starting at 99 cents per square foot. Knowing the price per square foot will allow you to determine the cost of the floor.

For example, if the room you are working on has a floor space of 100 square feet, then at 99 cents per square foot, the price for your new floor would be 99 dollars.

If you want higher quality flooring, you can expect to pay three or four times as much. Other things to consider when it comes to cost are necessary accessories like molding, spacers, pull bar, tapping block, and a laminate floor cutter or saw blade.

You can often find the best Laminate flooring prices and selection online at sites like Amazon.

Laminate flooring prices help?
I want to get 'fake' hardwood flooring. Other words Laminate and Pergo is the kind I want. I want it for a 117 Width by 137 Length room. Where could I get it cheapest? Please Help!

We put down cherry laminate flooring in our house last year and I love it! We live in the country and are very active outdoors, so there's always dirt, sand and sometimes even pea gravel tracked in. I swiffer and clean it regularly, and then found this swedish formula stuff to bring out the shine again although it hasn't been necessary. We got ours at Home Depot and I'm pretty sure it was Pergo. Ours was a steal as we bought it on a seasonal clearance. Best advice is just to shop around. As in everything else, the costs vary, but more expensive doesn't necessarily been better quality. We were told that one laminate finish is pretty much the same as the rest.

Your big box stores will carry the cheapest prices..Check for good prices at your mom and pop stores.. They sometime will by quaility stuff at close out prices and pass savings on to you and you get a quaility product at a lower price..Don t always get the cheapest unless your moving soon..GL
