Always have the Tools for the Job with the Leatherman Wave Multi Tool

leatherman wave multi tool

Being in a situation where you need a knife, pliers, ruler, bottle opener or saw (to name but a few) tool can be a thing of the past with the Leatherman Wave Multi Tool.

This multi-tooled device is packed with more tools than you would think, and I have used all of them in the three years I have owned this bit of kit. I go camping a lot with my family and friends and it has helped us out of a few tricky situations when we have needed a certain tool.

The multi tool has 17 different tools, which makes it the only multi tool you need when you are in the wilderness. It is also really compact, which means I can easily store it in my backpack and it hardly takes up any room. Over the years I have tried out other multi tools and I have found that they can be really flimsy, which is not what you want when you are trying to complete a job with it.

Instead of having to pack several different tools when I venture into the outdoors I know that I have the tools for the job with the Leatherman Wave Multi Tool.

Today's Discussion

for whoever has owned or currently owns a Leatherman Wave multi-tool:?
when the pliers are deployed, and you grip them and squeeze as if u were going to use them, do the inner (outside when the tool is folded up) knives/tools touch each other and make is difficult to apply more pressure to the actual pliers? answer with detail if possible. thanks

The pliers should completely "close". You can see the small "wire strippers" under the teeth of the pliers. Those should meet completely or they would be useless as strippers.
