If you don't, you may want to think about getting one for work, and the Makita radio is the perfect choice.

We all work in different environments, but if you work in a garage, warehouse or industrial environment it would be hard to hear the average radio because of the noise.

While you work it's always nice to have some background music, news or whatever you feel like listening too, while you are working.

This radio has many features you will love and enjoy. It's loud, rugged and guards against the type of accidents that may occur on the job and against bad weather conditions.

It will run a full eight hours (a typical workday) on a single Makita battery. It has a handle that makes it easy to move around and is lightweight.

Among of the factors that make it so popular is its convenience. It can be used cordless or plugged in. It also works with any Makita battery, which I may add is used for other Makita cordless products.

So, what have you decided? A Makita radio would be just the thing.

My boyfriend loves makita drills etc. What can i buy him for his birthday to earn extra cool girlfriend points? I cant afford any actual drills and what not, but is there anything else affordable I could buy him? Tool belts etc? Something cool. I have no idea about this sort of thing so please help!

Buy him a tool belt with a holster for holding his drill ...... its like being a child/cowboy all over again

Be careful, a man and his tools are very personal. He will not like just any tool belt or drill bit set. You could try to get some hints from him.

Your boyfriend obviously obviously has an eye, and appreciation, of quality, which no doubt extends to his choice in ladies. Unfortunately nothing Makita comes with an easy price. 1st link shows most of the range...maybe you'll find something in the accessories section. How about the tough looking radio in the 2nd link...plenty of brownie points there. Or you could get yourself a classy set of black lingerie, basque, sussies......you know, the full works and sew a "Makita" badge in a strategic position..... Ok, Cap'n time to get your hat and coat.

The most expensive thing with those tools is the battery. If you find out which battery his drill uses you could pick up an accessory that would use his existing batteries for a lot less than one including a battery. Or a big kit of hex bits he could use with the drill.
