Save Money with a Massage Chair Pad

What is a massage chair pad? As you might expect, it is simply a pad that can be attached to any comfortable chair and offers a number of relaxing features.

These devices are extremely popular for several reasons. Probably the most obviously one being that they can save consumers a lot of money.

After all, when massage chairs first came out, customers had to buy an entire chair that had the same features as the pad, but was four to five times more expensive because of the chair.

But now people can purchase just the pad and attach it to their favorite chair for a comparable, relaxing experience. These pads also offer a heating function, which increases relaxation and improves the ability for the pad to deliver a first-class message.

What else do they do? Well, most massage pads have at least three setting, often based on the different parts of the body that they are targeting. For instance, they will focus on the upper back, the lower back, the shoulders, or the full body, i.e., from the lower back to the shoulder.

There are also often different programs, such as rolling, kneading or shiatsu massage. The average massage chair pad will fit nearly any chair in the home, but they do work best on recliners or other comfortable, adjustable chairs.

Today's Discussion

do you have a chair massage pad? how does it work?
i'm looking for a little splurge on myself with my income tax return. i would really like to get one of those massaging pads that you put on an office type chair. do they work or do they fall apart quickly? are they worth the money? what kind would you recommend? i work on my feet all day every day and my back aches every evening.

Massage chair pads can help but they probably won't cure your back pain. Homedics has a good line. My dentist uses them in the chair. See a good massage therapist, chiropractor and/or acupuncturist to figure out what the problem is and have it addressed properly or it could lead to worse problems.

Yes I have a Homedics that is great. It was $99 at Walgreens or $79 at Wal-Mart I have a spine injury and it really helps
