Memory Foam Mattress Topper: The Answer to Sleepless Nights

memory foam matress topper

If you are tired of sleeping on your hard-mattress, then you should definitely get yourself a memory foam matress topper.  The memory foam is made of visco-polyurethane, which is the latest in mattress technology.

Developed by NASA, the memory foam was first intended for use by astronauts but because of its comfortable quality, it was commercially manufactured to share this awesome sleep experience with lesser mortals.

The memory foam helps you sleep soundly and you wake up refreshed every morning.  The mattress works like a mold, it adapts to the shape of your body once you lay down on it.  Because of this special characteristic, the mattress lessens the pressure on your neck and joints, thus giving you a stress-free sleep.  So be ready to kiss sleepless nights and stiff necks away.

Go to Amazon.com to get a better bargain when buying a memory foam mattress for you and your family.  The prices online are way cheaper than the local department stores and upscale shopping malls.  When you order online, simply click on the mattress of your choice and have it shipped right to your home.  Be one of the many proud and satisfied owners of a memory foam matress topper.

Yes. The foam is made from petroleum based chemicals. However, the foam is encapsulated, so there will be no interaction with your use of oxygen. You do not have to worry.

Check with your doctor. Why take chances. Yes, memory foam is made from petrolum based chemicals and research shows it is harmless, but in your case, why not just make sure you're not going to cause yourself trouble. New memory foam products do tend to off-gas for a period of time.

Hello, Yes memory foam is a petroleum based product. But I’m not sure if your issue is with flammability or inhalation. Memory foam is flammable, so it would be dangerous to mix with the use of oxygen and a flame. But if you introduce a flame in the presence of oxygen, most objects in a bedroom would be susceptible to burning. Under normal circumstances, memory foam poses no health risks. Even out-gasing, which occurs shortly after the foam is produced, and then quickly fades, has not been shown to cause any health problems. I would guess that oxygen would not negatively influence the health affect of memory foam. To address this issue with authority, contact the Polyurethane Foam Association (PFA) www.pfa.org. Their mission is to educate customers and other groups about flexible polyurethane foam (FPF). This includes providing facts on environmental, health, and safety issues. They have a contact form on their site where they will answer your question.
