Choosing the Right Mens Citizen Watches

Choosing the Right Mens Citizen Watches

Choosing the right mens Citizens watches depend on just a few things. One of them is the type of band.

There are really two different styles of bands, the nylon strap, and the steel link type. While the link band is more durable, there are a few draw backs.

One of them is that because they have a tight weaved link, they can snag on the hairs on your wrist, and this can be painful.

They are also a little bit more difficult to change out, and find a replacement that is the same style. While a strap might not last as long, it can be far more comfortable.

One of the nice things about these watches is the Eco drive system. Instead of a battery, it uses light from any source to power the watch.

Light is absorbed through the crystal, and a small solar photovoltaic cell converts the light into energy, storing for later use.

Because this energy is stored, it will even run in the dark. So if you want a watch that looks good and is Eco friendly, choose mens Citizens watches.

The battery is suppose to last for six months in total darkness and recharge with the solar cell in the face. So unless you've had it in a drawer all year it shouldn't be dead. The battery or charger could be defective. I always thought that solar rechargeable watch batteries were a pretty bad idea. It adds a lot of expense, complexity and things to fail to avoid a new battery every three years.

Check that the time adjust (What used to be called the winder) is pushed in properly. On some of the larger watches (esp those with screw in crowns) it can be difficult to push it in fully if it's not quite in the right position. If it's not pushed in it won't run I have an Citizen Eco-Drive and it runs for months left in a drawer without any problems.

No eco drive its not automatic nor it uses battery. Automatic watch uses ocillation weight to wind the main springs.Battery power watch is called quartz watches. Eco drive uses light and turn it into solar energy which then stored into small cell to power the watch. Most eco drive watch can work without charging for 1 month to 3 years straight depending on the calibre. There are many factor on why the watch stops working could be it run out of light power or its damage.
