What to Expect When Buying Outdoor Dog Kennels

outdoor dog kennels

Today's outdoor dog kennels are a necessity both at home and when traveling.

Keep your beloved pet safe with a kennel both from nature's elements and from other potential dangers.

Most of the outdoor kennels are made with a chain link fence or a wire steel frame, either one is great for sturdiness and durability.

These kennels are easy to assemble and great for travel as well.

Many of these kennels have a sunscreen included with it, and some have an optional roof that can be bought at time of purchase.

Some models do include an easy to attach roof usually made from polyethylene. This material is waterproof and UV treated to be long lasting and easy to clean.

Kennels come in a large variety of sizes ranging from a petite 4ft by 4ft structure to protect your small dog as it gets some exercise to a spacious 10ft by 10ft or even larger for the bigger dog breeds.

Height also varies from each model depending on its overall size. While most models are rectangular, some are octagonal as well. No matter what outdoor dog kennels you decide to buy for your pet, you will know your dog is safe and secure when the kennel is in use.

Today's Discussion

where can i find a cheap outdoor dog kennel?
I'm getting a hunting dog or gun dog. I've been looking for outdoor kennels and the best I can find is $200.00. If anyone could post a link for one that might could be a little cheaper that would be great. And for those people who want to know if i can handle a dog........i live on a 2 acre property with woods and lake lanier in my back yard. i also have pleanty of time to take care of him/her.

I would go to a local fabrication shop, metal shop, what ever you might call it, local to you and ask them there. Right now people are hurting so bad, you might consider spending the money locally, and let me be the first one to tell you that the guy at the shop can get you out of a lot of jams, they are good guys to know. Tell him you can find them online for $150.00, but want to spend the money local, you'll have a new friend, and a great kennel at the same time. I can't tell you how many times I've been to the one local to me and had them re-thread something, or cut something or whatever for a few bucks.
