People generally have baby showers around their 6th or 7th month of pregnancy. It gives you plenty of time to return things if you get multiples and figure out everything you didn't get.

usually around 30 weeks. That's when I am going to have mine and when everyone i have spoken too had theirs. You aren't too uncomfortable that you cant enjoy it but its late enough that you will know what you want and need.

Id have it in September. That way you know the sex of the baby for sure (doctors make mistakes) and that way its still far enough away from the due date that you can do shopping for anything you didnt get. Best of luck -RED

have it early I never got one because I was due may 20th so my baby shower was going to be may 1st but april 13th i was submitted into the hospital for preclampsia and i had to stay there till she was born (april 24th) but I was super bummed because ive always wanted a baby shower so I would say like 2 months in advance because you never know what can happen!

i'm doing mine a few days before i hit 29weeks. i know how you feel! i'm a planner too lol i'm already addressing invites even though we aren't planning to send them out for at least 3weeks lol i'm due november 4th so we're both PROBABLY going to have november babies. :) unless i go early and you go late. i really hope you don't go late because i hear that sucks lol!! congrats on your baby!!!!

Well my sister just had her baby shower the 12th. She was 32 weeks. I think it worked out nicely. My cousin had hers two weeks before she had her daughter and so did my future sister in law. I thought it was a little silly to have a baby shower so close to your due date mainly for the fact that what if you dont get something at your baby shower? Wouldnt it be nice to have a little more time to get the stuff you didnt get than panic that the baby will be here in 2 weeks and you still need quite a few things?

Well normally women have there baby showers in their 7th month of pregnancy so you should have yours in september
