i think you should reuse the one switch everyday but i mean your busy with the baby why give yourself more work of washing a million bottles think about it

Do you have six to use... obviously yes. Then whats the big deal? You dont want to use a dirty nipple... you might as well grab another bottle too. Tell him to quit being lazy and just wash them!

I use 10 bottles per day. I have a newborn I throw the bags away sterilize the nipples put new ones in and set up the formula again. so no, I think 6 is fine! congrats!

There is nothing wrong with either way. You have to do what works for you, and you are the one feeding the baby and washing the bottles. If you try to do something someone else's way, it is not a happy situation.

I like having multiple bottle because you can get a lot of bottles ready and then store them in the fridge. While you may only NEED one bottle, the convenience of more is nice. Plus, if he's not the one washing them, what does he care?

I only have five bottles...three 8 oz and two 4 oz.....as she gets older i will buy a couple more 8 oz bottles as right now she only really needs the 4 oz ones and i use the 4 oz liners in the 8 oz bottles too....

when my son was a baby i would send 4 playtex vent-air bottles with his milk already filled over to my mom and that would last until i picked him up later that day. When we are home together i would use only 2 bottles because i would rinse them out( the tops and the bottom) and put in a new liner. If the bottom vent or nipple looked filmy i would throw them in a pot to sterilize them and if he needed a bottle before the other was cleaned i'll grab another clean bottle.I think 6 is a little too much unless he's in daycare or is away from home for awhile.

Think about it. If your baby drinks six bottles per day, then you are going to wash six bottles per day. You can either wash one bottle six times, OR wash six bottles at once.......I am in favor of doing them all at once . I actually had enough bottles for 2 days. I had to use ready to feed formula for the baby's health reasons, and it was good for 48 hours after pouring. So I would pour 2 days worth of (or 10 to 12) bottles. Then when I felt like it, I would wash them. Or my hubby would, or grandma. I think it is better to just be able to grab bottles when you need them. and wash them when you have time.

Only if you want to go through the 1 quicker, or wash the bottles constantly... Switching bottles is a good thing - especially where the nipples are concerned. Nipples can only be used for about 3 months anyway - and that is while rotating. If you use the same one all the time, it won't be able to be used as long... They break down over time.

My son is 2 weeks old and we use about 7 a day. We have about 25 but we actually use about 7 a day. I know this because I wash and sterilize at the same time each day. Believe me you are going to need at least 10 on hand. Also.... this is my 3rd child and I LOVE the Playtex bottles. They are awsome.
