Playtex nursers? I BF and my daughter gets two bottles of breastmilk during the day while I am at work. We use the playtex nursers with the expandable drop ins...right now she is using the slow flow nipple...she is 3 months old. If you use the same bottles when did you switch to a faster flow nipple?
Reply nikkipitt0805 My son is 6 almost 7 months and he still uses the slow flow nipples, the fast flow almost choke him. So, we are still using the slow flow nipples.
hstris since you are nursing I would stick with the slow flow, there is no need to switch.
poutyp11 My son would not latch on properly so I pumped breast milk and fed him with the nurser bottles for four months. We switched to the medium flow nipples when he was almost three months. He basically let me know when it was time because he started fussing like he couldn't get enough out of the nipple. But...like I said...my son wouldn't latch on properly or take pacifiers so I think he just isn't the best "sucker". He is now five months and like the rapid flow! Try out it and see if your daughers likes it. They say it cuts down on air/gas if its easier for them to get out without sucking too hard. Hope that helps!
Kassie My daughter still uses the slow flow..and shes 6 months old..I just swap them out when they look like they are getting bad..but the faster ones just drown her and shes a pokey eater..she doesn't seem interested in chugging it down.
neesi16 My daughter is 9 months and she still uses the slow flow. Unless your baby is having a fit because the milk isn't coming out fast enought, what's the point of switching? All you'd be doing is wasting your hard earned money! If he's content, I say just stick with it.
