I saw one or two back in the 1980's. I imagine that they still make and sell them.

Yes, They make a pouch that has a snap. I don't know what the material is made of but you open the pouch, put your cigarette out in it and snap it shut. I have a few of them but have had them a long time and don't remember where I got them. They work really well. Sorry there is no name on them or on the snap but when you close the pouch, it snuffs out the lit cigarette.

The best solution and the cheapest is to use a soda can. Drink the soda then put a tiny bit of water in the bottom. Put the can in your pocket with the top sticking out and you have an instant disposable ashtray. You could even put the can in the recycle bin. Best to quit smoking tho. I recently quit after smoking for 40 years. Not easy but sure makes you feel better.
