Can I use regular pocket doors and pocket door tracks for open pocket doors?
I have found instructions for installing open pocket doors, but I can not find the recommended "open pocket door kit" anywhere. Can I just screw the track to the ceiling and to the floor and throw the door in there and be done? From what I've read, "open pocket doors" is the term for doors that slide on a track like pocket doors, but are installed outside the wall so the wall doesn't have to be opened up.
