Pocket page for scrapbook?
Been scrapbooking a couple of years, and I saw something I would like to do. I have seen scrapbooks that are made up of all regular page-protector pages. Then on the back cover there will be a "pocket page" attached that other things are stuck inside, like a card, program, or other objects to take out and look through. Do you buy pocket pages, because I have never seen them anywhere, so where? Or can you make them yourself? How? Thanks!

I'm sure you can make them yourself, but I'm not that crafty. I purchased pocket pages from Michael's. Walmart may have them as well, along with the scrapbook specialty stores. You can also just buy the actual pockets and attach them to your cardstock or paper.

I make pocket pages all the time for report cards. brocures, my kids school yearbooks, anything that I don't want to put adhesive on. It's easy you can use the whole page of make it to the size of your item. You can do this several ways take two pieces of CS or 1 CS & 1 PAPER, cut 1 paper in 1/2, and secure the 2 sides & bottom only to the CS do not secure the top because that is where your pocket opening is. If I want to be able to see through it use vellum for the front portion of the pocket. Most often you will want to reinforce you pocket page by adding bads or eyelets around the 2 sides & bottom of your page. Good Luck! Jolene in MI

You actually can buy the pocket pages...and you can also buy just the pockets to add to existing pages that are already completed...or you can make them yourself! I do some of both! If I have a page that I just get overly creative on...and I'm come up with a cute cut-out or graphic, I will sometimes recreate that in a larger version and make a pocket out of it! I also like to use the pocket pages to help organize my pages before I have completed them...I will work through a box of pictures and work a few pages at a time and slide the pictures and die cuts of my choice into the pocket pages...so they are already organized when I start putting it all together! Also, when the kids come home with a concert ticket or ribbon from school, slide it in side the next blank pocket page of the scrapbook and it's already there when you're ready to put it together!
