Well one is food, the main one really, PB's hunt seal as their main food source, they do this by ambush either the adult at breathing holes in the ice that the seal create, or in dens the seals create for their pups, which are unable to swim for the first weeks of their lives. Because of it adaptions to the cold the PB makes a poor land based predator as it can run only very short distances before it over heats. Some PB's live on the ice year round, some come ashore over the brief summer they will scavenge but usually they stave for this period and this (for these bears) as the ice free period is now longer they have to starve for longer and as the ice continue to shrink this will only get worse. Clearly deniers research little that they chant, if Average had, he would have discovered fire was in use long before the end of the last glacial period, in fact it was in use before the start of the last glacial period ~100,000 years ago. and possibly as long as 400,000 years ago, 4 glacial periods ago. But then logic is not one of Averages strong suits, if he is suggesting that a few hundred thousand humans camp fires compare with the industrial emission of 7 billion humans.
