pomeranian dog!!!? hi, i have a pomeranian dog that is 4 years old. we got him when he was almost 1. since we got him he has been SO scared of my dad. he always barks and runs away when my dad is around. when we put him beside my dad on the couch or something, he shakes alittle and tries to get away.
my dad is nice to him, pets him, sweet talks him, does everything we do but my dog is still scared of him!!!
my dad has never hurt him or anything, so we're all confused. my dad really wanted the dog and now its making him not want it, he feels left out when the dog is so scared of him but so loving to me and the rest of my family members.. i feel bad =(
does anyone know what to do to make him NOT scared?
my dad has beeen feeding him treats, playing with him, doing everything!!! and still he is scared.
if my dad calls him, he will come but just because he has to. the dog listens. but he wont just come like he would come to me or my mom.
UGH!!! =( .....
ALSO he is good with my brother in law, and with my dads friends, and other guys.
it seems to just be my dad.. we think its because my dads voice is really deep (lol?) and\or because my dads feet, he usually bangs them on the floor when he needs me or one of my sisters and were downstairs or something, then my dog would run away. so we had my dad stop but my dog just watches his feet. ..... ?
