Does Cigna Health Insurance cover the cost of a portable nebulizer?
I am just curious because I really don't want to deal with contacting the company and being put on hold right now, Id just like to have some input...a portable nebulizer is an asthma machine that puts liquid albuterol into mist to help breathing out. The reason I ask is that I have Asthma and I thought it had gotten better, but when I got the flu, I had a really bad attack, the first one in 13 years and ever since that recent attack, Ive had minor ones and difficulty breathing.

They covered it for rental a few times and then purchased one for us when my DD was hospitalized for the 3rd time. She has RAD(Reactive Airway Disorder) and she was in the ER alot and in the hospital 3 times by the time she was one.
