Please believe me on this: do not even bother getting him a Deluxe DriveMax Megazord. It is a highly INFERIOR toy. All of the parts on the Megazord have been redesigned just so that Bandai America can make yet another quick buck off of- no offence- ignorant parents such as yourself. Features have been removed, and paint applications have also been altered and/or removed. ... As you may not be aware, the video footage of the rangers, the monsters, and the robots are all from the Super Sentai saga over in Japan, which has been running for [now] 31 years non-stop; a brand-new series airs every year. The Deluxe DriveMax Megazord was originally called the DX Gougou Gattai DaiBouken, which is featured in the 2006 series "Gougou Sentai Boukenger" [trnsltd: 'Roaring Taskforce Adventure-Rangers']. If you wish to get your son good, quallity toys from Power Rangers, you must, instead, get the original toys from Japan. These all come out one year exactly before the series airs in the US. They will cost just about the same, and will be made of safer, higher-quallity materials & designs. In other words, the toys from "Boukenger" (2006) will be featured in "Power Rangers Operation Overdrive" in 2007. The only downside to getting the original Japanese versions is the Shipping-&-Handling, which will unavoidably increase the prices by about 10-20% depending on whom you shop online with. [I recommend Hobby-Link Japan (), and use the keyword "Sentai".] If you wish to know about past, current, or future toys from "Power Rangers" in their original Japanese forms, go to CollectionDX (), and use the keyword "Super Sentai". ... Do not be fooled by Bandai America; do not support them anymore by buying their products. Most of them are reissues that are already of poor quallity. Go to the source, and get the original Japanese versions. Share this with other parents. The more you do this, the more BA will realise the errors they are making in trying to trick you out of your money, and your kids out of their fun.
