Today's Discussion

Where do I get stronger side panels for my Quickie wheelchair?
The side-panels I have are made of cheap plastic and always crack a couple months. Then I have get new ones. That takes about two weeks and during that time I have to push a lopsided chair because one side is rubbing against the wheel. Can I reinforce them, Can I get stronger ones, Can I get metal ones? I went on to the Quickie Website and the only had plastic side panels. I went to my medical supply store, Care medical and they only went to the quickie website.

You might be able to purchase some Carbon Fiber ones from TiLite and use them on your Quickie. Ask the people are Care Medical as you have to go through a vendor to get parts form Tilite, but CF is much stronger than the regular plastic. Good Luck!

Ti sport has metal ones. I have a top end chair and use the ti side guards. My top end ones broke too. They may have to change the bracket, but it should work.
