How to make cowl hood and ram air intake functional?
Hello, I have a 1999 Camaro and have one of those ram air/cold air intakes form K&N that sits in front of the car and looks like a big square. I just bought a cowl hood. Will this already feed cool air to the intake scoop, or do I need to to have a pipe installed to the ram air FIPK?

Ram air and Cowl induction are different. ram air uses air forced in from the front while cowl induction uses air drawn in by induction. In short you can't have both. Think intake and exhaust... Decide which method you want and duct the air accordingly. If not ducted, the cowl induction hood will not affect your cold air intake so no modifications are required if it is just for looks. If you duct the cowl induction the cold air intake will need to be removed.
