What Are Rose Gold Wedding Bands?

You should choose rose gold wedding bands. These are very unique and different from many styles of gold that are available.

How is colored gold made? When gold is made into jewelry, its natural color is of course yellow. By alloying different metals with the gold, it changes color.

Blending gold with copper is how the pink or rose color is created. This give the piece of jewelry, usually a wedding band, a soft rose colored hue.

If you want something different when it comes to a wedding band, this color can be a good choice. It will get noticed no matter where you go, and people will always ask and comment about it.

There are many different styles, from plain bands for both men and women to combination pieces that have platinum, or tungsten carbide mixes, silver inlay, and even white, yellow and rose combinations.

Diamond styles are quite popular, and these come in a wide variety of choices, from single diamond styles, to bands of smaller diamonds.

So if you want to give your future wife something that will not only make her happy, but turn heads, choose rose gold wedding bands.

Today's Discussion

Looking for a wedding set from 1974. Rose w/ 1 diamond and leaves around both bands. Where can I find it ?
My mother has a wedding ring set bought in 1974 from Rodger's Jewelry in Montana. I want the same set or something close. It has one single diamond set in a rose. The band has a leaf pattern all the way around and the wedding band has the same leaf pattern to match. She said the box had "Princess" on it. Her's is silver, but she said she has seen a gold set also. Where can I find something like that ?

Just get a good jeweler to copy it for you.

Garnet Glitter
Sounds like 'Black Hills Gold'....google that and see what you find.....good luck.

take some really good pictures, or better yet bring in the ring to any good jeweler and they should be able to make you a copy in gold or silver. Finding one actually from 1974 may be really hard but you could try ebay if you really don't want a reproduction of the original.

Sounds just lovely. Possibility it's from Black Hills Gold collection - This one doesn't have a rose, but I love this set - - check their site for others -
