The single serving coffee maker is one of the easiest and quickest ways to get that first cup of coffee in the morning without having to wait as you brew an entire pot.

One of the best features of these coffee makers is that they use coffee pods instead of a filter and coffee grounds. For those of you not familiar with coffee pods, they are a self contained filter with ground coffee beans pre-packaged inside. This avoids the messy chore of having to clean up loose coffee grounds and a dirty filter. You can also purchase these in many different flavors including gourmet coffee pods.

You have many choices available to you when it comes to purchasing a single serve coffee maker. There are many different models and styles depending on your needs and wants. They come with many different features which can include a programmable timer, the ability to choose the strength of your coffee, and the size of your serving.

These can be purchased at any major retail store but you'll have a better choice of selection and pricing through an online store such as Amazon. A single serving coffee maker may not only be a good choice for you, but make a great gift for that busy person in your life!

How to fix my exploding Mr. Coffee single serve coffee maker?
My Mr.Coffee single serve coffee maker that I received as a gift for Christmas 2010 (less than a year ago) has all of the sudden been literally exploding and getting coffee and coffee grounds all over the place. Does anyone know how I could fix this problem? Thanks! Can I claim it for manufactures warranty if I do not have the receipt and never registered for any warranty??

It can't hurt to contact the manufacturer even if you don't have the receipt and haven't mailed in the ownership survey card. Have the unit in front of you when you call. They will probably want to know the model number and manufacturing date code that is stamped on it somewhere. The last time I had a coffee maker fail (different brand) within the warranty period, I was asked to cut off the plug off and send it in. They didn't even want the rest of the machine back. A new one arrived a few days later. I've posted contact information below. Don
