When it comes to circular saws, the Skil circular saw is definitely a cut above the rest as having been the inventor of the Skilsaw circular saw in the year of 1924 changing the way new homes were built and home improvements were made.

Anyone who is involved in a lot of woodworking or prefers to do their own home maintenance should definitely own a circular saw. These saws are very versatile, generally lightweight, and portable. They are most commonly used to cut wood but some can also cut other materials such as plastic metal, ceramic tile, and masonry. They can be hand-held or mounted on a table for stability.

The Skil circular saw comes in many different styles and varieties including cordless, corded, and right or left-handed. Circular saws range in size from three to sixteen inches. The most common type of circular saw is the In-Line saw which used for smaller jobs such as in home improvement projects because it tends to be lighter in weight and relatively inexpensive.

Another type of circular saw is the Worm Drive saw which is used for more heavy duty jobs. The blades are interchangeable as specific blades are needed for the different types of material. Whatever your needs may be for a circular saw, you can't go wrong when purchasing a Skil circular saw.

Actually Makita is the best. I make a living using one.

I don't know. Both are very excellent tools. One could also include Porter Cable in the "excellent tools" list.

Dewalt by far is the better tool That said it really depends on what you want to do with it and how long you wish it to last and under what conditions that life will be. If it is to do a small amount of work around the house then a Skil Saw is the best saw in relation to cost. A Milwaukee would come in next and be useful for say a professional handyman for light to medium work A Dewalt is made for rugged work with heavy construction all day every day and as a consequence the heft price tag to go with it. I am not being biased because I actually own all Makita equipment. At the end of the day you really only get what you pay for.

I own a Milwaukee Sawzall and it is an impressive and rugged tool. I've used Milwaukee drills and they have so much torque you need two hands to hold them. Nothing will stop them. I also own a DeWalt cordless drill and it is very good, too. You might want to look at the details of each mfr's saws. Milwaukee makes tools with removable power cords - easy to replace if you accidently cut the outer shield. I'm not sure, but one of those two saws might be better for left-handed users. And check the sole plate (stamped steel or heavy duty aluminum or magnesium alloy), how easy to adjust the height and bevel, overall heft, weight and balance, position of handles, motor RPM and horsepower, round or diamond arbor, rip fence tool, carry case, ease of blade changing, etc. Milwaukee tools are designed to easily replace the commutator brushes when they wear out. My nod would go to the Milwaukee circular saw because I feel their tools are well-designed and built to be very rugged, easy to service and reliable. (And take a look at Skil's circular saws - I have one of their worm drive saws and it is great tool.) In the end, either one - Milwaukee or DeWalt - would be a good choice.

Wondering
Out of the three you mentioned the Dewalt is the top choice for me and then the Milwaukee.I have a couple of Skil's and they work great but they won't hold up to the load of the other two.
