Have you tried Taylor Made golf balls yet? Are they better than Titleist ProV1?

I just got a free sleeve last week from PGA Tourpartners to try out and write a review on , let me tell you I tee'd off with the first ball and it felt like a little rock , It almost reminded me of the old Top Flights it had no feeling at all to me , them my approach shot was a little short and it had very little spin , so I went to hole 2 same thing , they just had no feeling to me and they were not as long as the PROV 1 , I ended up giving the sleeve to a guy in my group and after a few holes he stopped playing with them to his exact words were it feels like a rock , well that is what I found , in no way does that ball compare with a PROV1 .

Actually I prefer the Titleist ProV1's better, by the way there is no "sweet spot" on the ball it all depends on how its made it depends on club contact. The Prov1's have longer driving distances than the origil ProV1's they also have the ProV1X's which I believe have more distance capability but I have not actually tried those. I'm really satisfied with the new ProV1's though. Here is all the info on the Prov1's Here are the TP reds from taylor made Here are the TP blacks If you are interested the TP Red is made for greater distance and a better launch and the TP black is for higher launch and more carry. I have tested the new taylor made drivers though, really nice you should check them out if you are in the market for a new driver.

Pro VI the best

I dont care for them. Ive played witht the "red" version and got little spin off the clubface which made my shots around the green kind of sad. I will stick with my Pro V's

yeah i like them. pro v's spin to much for me. the pro v1x is ok . if u have a high club head speed then they are pretty good. if you are just an average joe that plays pro v's because the pro's do. i dont chip the ball at all. i pitch everything with a cleveland lob wedge bent to 62 degrees and all the bounce ground off and lead tape added. i want it to hop once and stop. maxfi balata ball was better ball than titleist balata ball. of course neither is made anymore. and if all the people that think pro v's are soft. then u just arent old enough. a real balata golf ball hit properly feels like a marshmellow.
