How remove a yakima lock core on a bike rack with out damaging the housing?
i lost the keys to my yakima bike rack and i am trying to replace the lock cores but i dont know how to remove the cores without damaging the housing.... and i dont want to call a locksmith...help me!!!

if you don't call a locksmith, then leave the locks alone till you find the keys...if you don't know how to do something without damage, then PAY someone who does know.

Take the new lock cylinders and the rack to a locksmith. They do not charge that much if they don't have to make a house call.

If the cores are unlocked, it's easy: just insert the blank that comes with the lock cores and turn. It will release the core so it can be removed. Look at your new keys & write down the number on it. With that number you can order extra/replacement keys directly from Yakima and avoid having this happen again.
